Research Interest

My research focuses on integrative taxonomy of Solenogastres (Mollusca, Aplacophora), mainly sampled from bathyal and abyssal depths in the region of the Northwest Pacific (Sea of Japan, Sea of Okhotsk and Kuril-Kamchatka trench). By combining various morphological methods with molecular barcoding, I explore the morphological and molecular diversity of this deep-sea clade.
